Re: Public Server Night
Good idea, but I'm out of town on Friday. Good luck with this "outreach" program!

Re: Public Server Night
I can likely be there.
You can post it on +sd's site, maybe rsi, and a few other clans who might like to join us.

Re: Public Server Night
Well guys, I'm going to go ahead and set this date down.
Friday, March 5th, 2100 EST. I'll stay online for at least 2 hours, even if I have to sit and read a book waiting for people.

Re: Public Server Night
If it's a Dr. Suess book, please read it aloud on TS, I'll put my kids in the room to listen.

Re: Public Server Night
Why aren't people on the public server more often? It's co-op like the two private ones, right? What's the difference, besides not getting to show the public how TG does it?

<LazyEye> yeah when I play on TG the server digs though my trash

Re: Public Server Night
The public server has MOSTLY stock missions, and does not use the TG3.0 mod.

Re: Public Server Night
Once the 3.1 update for TG 3 is out, I'll be working on a public server mod that will be a much smaller download but retain most of the elements from TG 3. Hopefully, there will be more missions on the pub server by then too.

Re: Public Server Night
Why not? I mean, it's TacticalGamer's public server, and the mod is TacticalGamer 3.0... I don't think it would be a massive stretch to have people DL it to play on the public server. It'd be no different than having people DL custom maps for a CS server.

Re: Public Server Night
It's easier to catch people and drag them into the TG web without having to install a big ol mod.

Re: Public Server Night
This would be the goal of the public TG 3 mod. I'm planning it to be compatible with full TG 3 users but small enough that 56k'ers can download it within 15-25 minutes.
