Special Events Server Changed
Today we will be moving the Ghost Recon Special Events server over to a new machine. This machine is going to be used as a dedicated special events server for all Tactical Gamer hosted games.
The IP addresses for the server are as follows:
Special Events Server #1 : 209.19.57.71
Special Events Server #2: 209.19.57.72
By default, we will be leaving Ghost Recon operating on SE Server #2. HOWEVER, there may be times when it will be taken down to be used for another game event. This means that it will be important for you to make sure you schedule your events beforehand to guarantee that the server is available for you.
During this same move, we will be putting the Ghost Recon Public Server on a new machine, one which is far more capable and more stable than the current public server and in fact up to our current machine standards for all servers.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Re: Special Events Server Changed
It's up! I copied over all of the mission files to the new server and it's running nicely.
The in-game admin password is the same as on the previous SE server.
ENJOY! :-)

Re: Special Events Server Changed
You probably don't want to post passwords here, but are those changing?
Edit:
doh, we posted at the same time. What about PWs for joining the server?Last edited by USN_Squid; 04-06-2004 at 05:06 PM.

Re: Special Events Server Changed
There is presently no password to join the server, as long as you are a member it will let you connect automatically. I'm sure a password WILL be put on it by whatever individual runs the first event, and that will probably change with the various events happening.

Re: Special Events Server Changed
I don't think we need a password on any of the SE servers. Players and teams should not be on those servers unless they have scheduled them.

Re: Special Events Server Changed
Will a member who joins 6 months from now know to stay off the SE server?

Re: Special Events Server Changed
Good Point. I'll updated the information in the Ghost Recon Server IP Addresses thread (see below) and will post a thread in the admin section for the admins to remind people if they see them on one of the SE servers.
