Re: Reticule Colors
Glad I could help. Rumor has it that someone changed their reticule color to a pinkish/purple color. Sounds kinda girlish too me.

Re: Reticule Colors
I changed my "friendly" reticule colour to blue, I found it was easier to see when using night vision:
ReticuleIFFColorR>10<
ReticuleIFFColorG>55<
ReticuleIFFColorB>175<
Playing around a bit with the last 2 values (55, 175) will give you different shades of blue.
PARA mentioned changing the ret colours a for the first time a few months ago, I found it to be one of the most helpful things I learned for GR
.

Re: Reticule Colors
Kool notes para....
But while we're on the topic of game-tweaking, I thought I overheard someone using the full-screen night vision tweak the other night... I had always thought this was frowned upon..
Thoughts?

Re: Reticule Colors
Full screen sniper, bino and night vision is considered as cheating in my opinion and is not allowed here at TG.

Re: Reticule Colors
Would changing reticule fall into the same category of cheating as full screen nvg? I know some tournaments have no iff identifiers and this would help quite a bit....

Re: Reticule Colors
Good question.... Wonder if IFF off would over-ride these color changes...
I think it would, since the variable name is IFF... but I dunno..

Re: Reticule Colors
If IFF is turned off on the server the reticule will not change when you run it over a friendly. During the Azzcup tourney they had the IFF turned off and it made identifying your target a lot more difficult. We should have a little TVT match friday and turn off the IFF.

Re: Reticule Colors
heheheh... I can already picture the TK carnage...We should have a little TVT match friday and turn off the IFF
For sanity sake, we should not do "random teams" for this experiment..
"but, I thought I was on the blue team"

Re: Reticule Colors
Nah, random teams and everyone on the same TS channel with no IFF. Shoot first, check map later.
