Discussion: Ghost Recon / Ghost Recon - General Discussion - Thursday nights starting December - Starting in December I am hoping to get a Ghost Recon game going on the
Starting in December I am hoping to get a Ghost Recon game going on the TG servers around 2100 EST.
I am hoping for some old school mission action. Remember the golden age of voting for a team leader and working in fire teams. That is the goal.
I am currently trying to get one of my friends that I used to play GR with to commit to Thursdays nights for this and hopefully some of the old timers will come back to this type of action.
I have picked Thursday because most of the time it is the most convinient for myself without interfering with the Wednesday night BF2 action. But the day is still up in the air so if you have other suggestions lets talk about it and get a weekly GR mission night happeneing again.
So if you have a better day for setting this up vote for it.

The only issue I have with Thursday is that the 42nd practices that day, so you lose Leejo, Usn_Squid, and myself from the team. Also, PM H-Hour and see when he might be available.
Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.
It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
It has been almost 6 months now and I am still waiting for the second peer-review report to come in for my next book (this one is on the future of television).
Things usually unfold faster than...
