GR 1 patch
Hey all!
I started playing GR 1 two weeks ago and now I want to play on the Net, but I need newest patch. How can I download it? Is there a web page I can download it from? When I press in game "multiplayer", the game freezes and I can't do NOTHING and I have to restart PC.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Welcome, Keldorn. You should be able to download the v1.4 patch from here. If the game asks you for the v1.3 patch first, download it from here and install it, and then install the v1.4 patch.
Install the patch(es), and then see if you have better luck getting into the Multiplayer section of the game. If you have problems, let us know so we can try to help. You're welcome to join us for our next play session if you like, but please be sure to become familiar with the SOPs in this forum beforehand.

I installed the patches but I have no luck in getting into Multiplayer section. The game still freezes when I press "Multiplayer". I installed the patches and the window pop up saying that all patches were installed correctly but in left right corner in game there is still text "version 1.0.0"
My GR has got polish texts and sound but does it really bother the patches to work?

My apologies, Keldorn. I didn't realize you had the Polish version of the game.
You might try the Polish patches available here. The files you'd need should be:
gr_polish_patch_3.exe
patch1.4polish.exe
Hopefully these will bring your game up to the latest version.

I got other patches from polish GR editor web site
the game is up and running on-line but I couldn't play because every server I tried to connect is using some kind of mod :/ this means I have to buy Island Thunder and other expansion pack which title I do not remember clearly know. This is strongly irritating.

Yeah, just about every server you find will surely be running mods, whether they be official expansions like Desert Siege and Island Thunder or community-made mods like Tactical Gamer 3.0. Fortunately, the only mods you'll actually have to buy are the two official expansion packs.

The expansion packs are well worth the extra money to buy. And they're pretty cheap by now.
Also, most of the latest mods use the expansion packs in order to function correctly.

i just installed the ghost recon game with the island thunder disk and when i click on multiplayer and internet games no servers come up with people playing online.
Am i doing something wrong?
