Installation:

01) Install Ghost Recon
02) Install Desert Siege
03) Install Island Thunder
04) Install Frostbite v1.2, Frostbite v1.3, Tactical Gamer 3.0, Coop Pack 1, and Year of the Monkey Mods
05) If necessary, install GR v1.4 Official Game Patch (5.7MB)
06) Install ts2 rc2 client
07) If you have some cool mod or cheat, REMOVE IT! Playing on TG is for adults with adult mindsets. This is not a fragfest.

Configuration:

01) in "multiplayer" create the following multiplayer chat messages:
--0 = cc
--1 = moving
--2 = in position
--3 = covering
--4 = frag out
--5 = negative
--6 = contact
--7 = visual
--8 =
--9 =
"0" is VERY important. The others are some of the most common phrases for backup purposes. (In case you get stuck with no mic.)
02) Suggest keeping a non intrusive key free for ts2 (i.e. bckspc or pause/break).
03) Under "Sound", turn music level all the way down, or un-[X] the related box. (interferes with listening to pre/post-game instructions.)
04) Make any other performance or functional changes now.
05) Close Ghost Recon and start TeamSpeak2.
06) Choose settings; sound input/output settings.
07) Check Push to talk and set to [del] or [bkspc] and close.
08) Choose settings; options. pull slider to lower latency (this reduces stuttering... might be able to raise this, but recomend testing this setting before getting in game.). click "other" tab and set priority to "high". click ok.
09) Choose connection and connect.
10) right click in left field and choose add server.
11) the TS2 server is 67.19.106.94 for all private server games.
12) type a nickname
13) choose "Anonymous"
14) To test your sound settings, go to "settings"; "sound input/output"; "activate local test mode". set sliders to taste.

Suggested that you observe a few games before you jump in. Make it clear up front that you are new. Someone will guide you through.
