You're right. There is a difference.

I have the best luck with the M60 out of all the heavy support weapons.

The sounds of weapons make a big difference for me. If it's weird sound I probably won't like the weapon no matter what stats it has. Some of my personal favourite weapons are P90, groza and A-91. These are weapons not used often by players yet hold good advantages.

The P90 has a large magazine and good stopping power. The single-shot is quite accurate at range. When I take a MOUT kit, it's usually the P90. I would take other kits but only to mix up my gameplay.

The groza is good to take for TvT because of the bullpup design. It doesn't stick out like other rifles but can take down a target at range. It's also accurate despite the small zoom. I find I can hit targets with the groza without difficulty.

The A-91 is the most underrated weapon of all. Players don't know it's stopping power. It can really take down tangos at 100m or more. It's a point and shoot weapon. You hit the guy and he goes down.

A-91 is a cool weapon, the single shot is amazingly acurate...

The m60 is my favorite too. One of the characteristics I like best about it is that it has the lowest rate of fire of all of the support weapons. Combine that with its fast stabilization (tied for best), and moderate recoil, combine for very tight groupings. Lower ROF = more time between shots = more time for the reticle to stabilize between shots = accurate bursts.

Re: TG3 Weapons/Kits Analysis

Bump!

Anyone know if these PDF files still exist on a TG file server?

Re: TG3 Weapons/Kits Analysis

Lost in a transfer somewhere I'm sure. Apo may have a backup, or some random old person might wander in here that just happened to have those files saved somewhere.

I still say don't worry so much about numbers. Play around with different kits and find out what works for you.

I take the M4 over the SA80 purely because the SA80's increased zoom makes me feel more accurate than I really am. The targets look bigger, more hitable.

I take the SVD as a sniper because the massive sound and slow recoil helps me slow down and take more care with my shots.

The Aug is a more accurate rifle, but I often take the G36 because it feels more mobile (less reticule disruption when moving maybe?) and the burst feature is nice at times (I still like the Aug though).

Some people love the M14 purely for stopping power and long-range accuracy. It's terrible for mobility, but I've seen people clear buildings with this thing.

There are other guns in the game besides the SR25-SD?
