Mage Sheep Macro for Lurker Below
Here is a usefull Sheep macro that ALL of our mages should have ready for sheep duty on the Lurker fight. (not to mention an Arena necessity!)
/clearfocus [modifier:shift] /clearfocus [target=focus,dead] /clearfocus [target=focus,noexists] /focus [target=focus,noexists] /script SetRaidTarget ("focus", 1) /cast [target=focus] Polymorph The "1" on the third line represents the raid icon going from top to bottom: 1= Star 2= Circle 3= Diamond 4= Triangle 5= Moon 6= Square 7= Cross 8= Skull

Re: Mage Sheep Macro for Lurker Below
Thanks Gaze!
I did notice a great improvement in mob control once Gaze took the main sheeping duty. Awesome control! On a related note, I think it safer and more efficient to have frost mages handle mob control, when possible. All mages should be ready to step in and know what to do, but the extra talents that frost has for controlling mobs and for survivability seem to be better suited for the task. I still need to improve reaction time and skill for this task. I expect the macro that Gaze uses will help. :-) |

Re: Mage Sheep Macro for Lurker Below
To explain the macro for those that look at it and see a wall of text...
It will set your focus if you don't have one. If you hold shift or your mob is dead, it will clear your focus. It will also put up the raid symbol on the target and cast Polymorph on your focus...not your current target. It should keep your current target. |

Re: Mage Sheep Macro for Lurker Below
This obviously applies to any CC spell. I use it for my Shackle in KZ (esp. Moroes) and it makes things infinitely easier. I'd suggest that anyone with a CC ability keep this macro handy for those situations where you have repeated CC responsibilities. (I also use it on my lock for Banish during Shade) It allows you to keep your DPS high on the boss, with better control over your CC target.
PS - The raid target part of it is just a bonus; not a critical component of the macro. Obviously it only works if you have lead or assist, but it doesn't break the macro if you aren't promoted.
