Leotheras the Blind...

My god this looks, OUCHIE for healers--and everyone as matter as fact...

Great video right there I think...
Small problem--we have a warlock with FR? or are we going to have one with FR? lol

Anyways, I have confidence we can do this--our melee are smart people and get out during the Whirlwinds and others just shouldn't be in there if possible hehe

Celltar is being (has been?) outfitted with FR gear and will be our tank for that fight.

Ranged DPS may be able to stay away from the whirlwind as show in this video:

Mage point-of-view movie:

It is a high-resolution video, so it is large.

Re: Leotheras the Blind...

This fight isn't that bad but you have to have good timing.

Essentially, get BigWigs or DBM and have melee get out 5 seconds before the WW. At this time, stop all dots!!!!!! The whirlwind is a complete aggro reset, and dots on the target WILL. WIPE. YOUR. RAID. I can't stress that enough.

As far as getting hit by the whirlrwind... there's never any excuse. He moves randomly, but there is NO WAY to possibly get hit if you're standing at your max range (35-41 yards away). Don't damage during whirlwind... just stay alive.

A living DPSer does more damage than a dead one.

A living healer heals more than a dead one.

Run away during WW and then you've solved the hardest part of the fight. Seriously, if you're 41 yards away and you start moving when he WWs, you can't get hit.

Re: Leotheras the Blind...

The first challenge to Leo is not dying due to demons, WW and Chaos Blast. That's the easy part.

The second challenge is maintaining the same control and discipline during the 15% portion.

I have had more single-digit wipes on Leotheras than any other boss in TBC.

btw: prot pallies make haxx tanks for Leo.
