Resurgent Third Night
We need to be able to spend more time in the 25 man raid instances so we can continue to am
What additional night could we add as an Resurgent third night? This night will be used to finish off an instance or to take shots on a new boss that we are working on(Vashj!). It is expected that this night will be held for Resurgent, but that we may or may not schedule a raid for that night depending on where we stand on instances. We would prefer to raid 3 nights a week so we can spend time in both The Eye and SSC, but it will depend on the availablility of the group and the balance. Please respond with any days that you can make. Thank in advance.

Re: Resurgent Third Night
To be clear, I included Monday in my list of available nights...HOWEVER, that is available only after March 1 for me...after which Tuesday I am AFK.

Re: Resurgent Third Night
I honestly don't know how often I can or really want to raid that much. If we start raiding sooner or more often I'm afraid I'll hit my burn out level again and not want to play. I definitely cannot raid any earlier than 8pm. I may get home before then occasionally, but I prefer to relax and spend time with my children rather than jump straight to the computer. If this is a problem, that's fine. I'm happy alternating when you need a healer on the occasion you're short.

Re: Resurgent Third Night
I agree that a regularly scheduled third night would be ideal. With a 3 hour raid 2x/week, it will be difficult to get any real quantity of time in on late bosses now as in Vashj, but even more so in later content where there are as many as 9 bosses.

Re: Resurgent Third Night
Too much raiding can cause burnout. But not making progress, especially because of lack of time, can also get old.
For example, I'd like to keep focus on SSC and clear it, then farm it. But I also want to see The Eye and beyond. If it takes too long, the expansion will hit, probably killing the purpose of spending the time in TBC end game. Now striking that balance is the tricky part. Hopefully we can handle 3 raids a week. |

I feel extremely confident that this guild has what it takes to clear the 25 mans. SSC and TK are not really gear reliant as much as it is focus. You have to know the fights and watch carefully.

Re: Resurgent Third Night
One issue that I foresee for 3rd raiding day scheduling is that of looking at class balance vs majority availability. The possibility of Night A being favored by a majority could be complicated with the problem that only 1 tank is available or too few healers can come.
(All of us DPS types are interchangeable. We know that! )It could be that we will have to do some recruiting to make this work.

Re: Resurgent Third Night
If we add a third night, I don't see a need to extend raids. If we can't get a third night, then we have to look at that as an option.

Re: Resurgent Third Night
I've read this, but I won't vote to skew the result. I work too odd of a schedule. If it's a day I'm free that week, I'll raid, if not, maybe the following week I could.
