My apologies for missing the raid tonight. Some of you read what happened in guild chat but I wanted to post it here so everyone could see.

Our power went out for a few hours today, which resulted in our sump pump failing. Our basement was flooded with hundreds of gallons of water before the power came back. Our office is also in the basement, which is where I am when we are raiding. Needless to say it's been a stressful day for us with lots of scrambling around to salvage our belongings. I wasn't able to go into the office until after the raid began. I sit here now writing this with wet socks that make me sound like a murloc walking about on tile flooring.

I hope the raid went well, and I wish I could've been there. Again, I am sorry if this inconvenienced anyone in any way.

I remember sitting in my parent's basement with Gaviin all night once taking turns bailing water out of our sump pump basin and pouring it down the sink because our power was out. We managed to keep the water from overflowing the basin into the basement, but just barely... Fun times...
