Sajier is gone

Though I'm sure that most of you are already aware of this, Sajier has transferred to another server (taking Sajier, Sajaman and Blastcap) to join a guild that is more focused on raiding.

In the wake of his departure, we still have a successful raiding platoon. In order to help with transition, we all need to step up our games both in terms of timely signup and being at our best while in-game. Our raid leaders in all the squads and platoons are doing a good job in helping us with progression and exploring the content we seek.

Now is a good time for each Resurgent member to step up personal effort to keep us moving. A leader can explain the fight and give direction before and during the event, but each of us is responsible to actually do what is asked in a timely manner...including the homework & research before showing up. We can offer help when it is needed.

The MOST important thing we can do is to play smarter with improved situational awareness. Let our leaders lead...giving them our commitment and support to try different strategies, to be willing to die (a lot) while learning new encounters and by being as focused and fully present in the game as we can (minimizing interruptions, etc.)

My shorthand summary for this is that we should be good followers to make the role of our leaders less burdensome. The payoff is more success and fun for all of us.

Re: Sajier is gone

I gave warning last Tuesday that I was considering it to Beep and Gaviin.

To be clear (full disclosure), Sajier did give us a "heads-up" on Tuesday that he had gotten an invitation to join another guild and that he would be making a decision within a few days. We were asked to keep the situation confidential until he reached a decision.

Sajier notified Luna and I of his decision to accept the invitation on Sunday evening. Within 10 minutes or so of that announcement, he had transferred his characters and we announced his departure to the rest of the guild a few minutes after that.
