The first portion of our goals for the week should come as no surprise to anyone: we will march through each of the first 3 bosses in Hyjal, one-shotting as we go.

Rage Winterchill seems to be cake for us, even moreso as more people are acquiring their [Medallion of the Alliance], right? Anetheron and Kaz'rogal should become equally routine given the revisions we've made to our strategies (please check them out). All of this should be accomplished on our first night in Hyjal this week.

Our second night in will then allow us to focus exclusively on the 4th round of trash waves and perfect our strategies there based on the planning that the Raid Leaders have done since last Thursday. We will see Azgalor this week, so be certain that you have read up on and fully understand your role in that fight. I expect that Azgalor will go down this week; our stretch will be to have him down on Thursday (which honestly doesn't seem like too far of a stretch).

I'd also expect that we will take our first attempts at Archimonde this week. Our stretch goal for Archimonde will be repeated solid attempts that demonstrate a firm understanding of the fight's basic challenges.

As usual, we'll try to squeeze in another Magtheridon run for some additional epic gems if and when it makes sense this week. Let's have another great week!


As always, review all relevant strategies in depth prior to our raids. No one should accept an invite if they are unprepared. Additionally, I remind everyone of the Platoon Guidelines and Expectations.

Well, this week had a little bit of everything....

We had a horrible showing on our first night.
We had a great showing on our second night.
We had no-shows on our third night.

There were many factors that negatively impacted us this week:

• We were missing some of our core members certain nights due to random RL constraints
• We had "new" members in our raid meaning more explanation was required
• Raid Leaders spent *a lot* of time planning and explaining trash wave 4, which ended up taking too much time away from solid attempts
• We had a couple of unlucky, ill-timed computer problems

All in all, we met none of our targets for the week. Thankfully, we still managed to break even by downing the first 3 MH bosses. We will need a much better showing next week; I think everyone can agree on that.

I view this week as an anomaly; we will be back in solid form for next Tuesday's raid.
