Hyjal AAR - Apr 24, 2008

It would seem that rogues are obsolete. Anetheron was 1-shotted and Kaz'rogal was a nice 2-shot once we got healers ahead of the tank so they didn't get out of range during the transfer.

We definitely need to work on our Trash waves for the 4th boss. Seems we need less CC and more AoE. Mages and S-Priests that were CC'ing were given assist to mark up via a macro. This needs to be done a little sooner and I think it will work nicely.

Gargoyles were grounded fast, thank you. and the Frost Wyrms were handled nicely. Infernals weren't so bad, but we need to focus fire a bit more to speed up the process. Fearing loose adds seemed to be going nicely, but tanks (mainly druids) need to be picking them up and working on aggro while they are feared so they return to us. Watch the early AoE on these chaos packs.

Overall, a good night. Thank you all for coming prepared.

Maybe it's just Gav... Anyways, both kills went very smooth and controlled.

I still need to find a balance on how far up to be when the mobs are entering the camp. Too far away delays gaining range and polymorphing. Too close and I die in a flurry of shadowbolts.

I think sometimes the AoE zones can be packed tighter together. This may be more of an issue with fire mages, because the radius for the Flamestrike is smaller than other AoE spells.

Yotion you wanker! You didn't resist any of those Marks like you said. Boooooo.

AND

"21:42'49.062 Yotion's Hammer of Wrath misses Kaz'rogal" - hehe can't throw your purse into a mob as big as a barn.

It's a good thing I did resist a couple of those Marks though since my stupid mana monkey decided to flip me off and head to 7-11 after being hit by a warstomp immediately after he came out. I didn't even get one tick of mana from it.

Hehe my mana pool didnt drop so i assumed I resisted at least 3 of them...guess your mana regen on me is just that leet :P Combat logs are for the weak

...and as far as my hammer missing...my purse handle snagged my bulky Indian bag on my back which threw off my trajectory and such and it was windy that night and the sun was in my eyes...
