The distinction between
Full and
Constrained membership in Resurgent is largely meant to reflect the current frequency with which you are able to raid. Individuals who have consistently demonstrated a commitment to attending a majority of Resurgent raids and who can be relied on to sign up week in and week out are considered
Full members. Individuals who do not consistently sign up for raids, for whatever reason, will be designated as
Constrained members.
These designations do not guarantee anyone a spot in the raid on any given day, nor do they guarantee a spot on the bench.
Constrained members may still be given preference over
Full members to achieve class balance or to simply allow all dedicated members a chance to raid when they can.
There are also “holding area” designations for
Trial members and those members who are
Missing In Action.
Trial members are those new to Resurgent who are evaluating us while we evaluate them. Assuming all goes well, once they reach the 6th raid plateau and are eligible to roll on drops against other members, they will be moved to either
Full or
Constrained depending on their situation.
Missing In Action is a designation reserved for those who have seemingly disappeared without giving any notice. If you fail to sign up for Resurgent raids for a week or more (signing up as Not Available is fine) without notifying Resurgent leadership, you will be moved into this designation. Prolonged absence with no explanation may force us to give up your position in Resurgent.
These designations should not be interpreted as a judgment on an individual’s dedication or commitment to Resurgent’s success; Tactical Gamer continues to be sensitive to everyone’s individual prioritization of real-life and
WoW commitments. However, to help Resurgent’s leadership plan raids and ensure strong attendance of key class roles, these designations are necessary.
As you’ll notice, the roster not only reflects the class balance that we have, but also reflects the class spec we have in cases where such differentiation is relevant. If you fall within one of these specs, we ask that you discuss any changes you want to make to your spec with Resurgent leadership before you make it. Keep in mind that any change you make to your spec may impact your role in Resurgent’s raids going forward; we need to ensure that certain specs are present in our raids to maximize our chances for success.
