Excellent job by everyone! We learned and executed a new strategy very quickly, after one-shotting Maulgar. A great step forward.

BTW, I submitted a screenshot of a dead Gruul to the Thunderhorn guild progression thread this morning.

Ok, now that I am more awake, I can post more details

Team: Beep, Sharabeth, Talara, Maxarilius, Anastacea, Flared, Mirada, Wintrow, Lunatg, Baylord, Enya, Elminnster, Amalie, Zeddzorander, Gaze, Ogi, Gnopaine, Aeryck, Gaviin, Violacea, Tarenth, Jest, Pistos, Xyris, Sajier

Maulgar
Pulled our way in with some sloppiness, but but set up for Maulgar:
Beep(Wintrow, Anastacea, Flared) = Maulgar
Talara (Mirada/Enya) = Blindeye
Max/Shara (Mirada/Enya) = Olm
Tarenth/Jest (Baylord) = Kiggler
Gaze(Lunatg) = Krosh

The kill went beautifully and we only lost 2 or 3 people.

Missed the other set of shoulders

We decided to we wanted to try Elminnster's posted strat (thank you to Elm and to Tarenth for updating!) to deal with the shatters. Our first couple attempts were just trials, getting used to the positioning and when to move to the Ground Slam positions and then out of them.

Our final attempt nailed him down like a squeaky floor board. Great job to all for adjusting and learning the strat and dropping him!

[Gauntlets of Martial Perfection] - Sharabeth
[Teeth of Gruul] - Mirada

On to The Eye tonight to mess with Void Reaver! Make sure you have read the strat!

Kudos to Elm and Tarenth for bringing us that strat!

We hardly lost anyone to the avoidable damage of cave-ins and slam/shatters. Organization and attention to detail FTW. Great job everyone.
