Let me first say that I don't know what your healing assignments were and I'm not being hard, just suggesting some tweaking.

Summary: OT only needs 2 healers for the Hurtful strike, with only occasional spot heals for Cave-ins/shatter.

Damage in for Talara = 219,127
Gruul missed 34.2% of the time he tried to hit me with Hurtful Strike. He landed 25 Hurtful Strikes with around Grow 12-13 hitting me for 10k. Most of the overhealing occurred when I was being hit for 3-4k during grows 1-5.


Healing in for Talara:
Luna = 148,570
Mirada = 87,416
Maxarilius = 48,537
Talara = 15,967 (Imp. LotP) (this has a roughly 50% overheal rate in most fights, Gruul is 51%)
Baylord = 22,556
Enya = 5,571

That's 284,523 healing from 3 players or 235,986 from 2 players. I'm guessing the rest was from extreme circumstances to catch me up. I took 204,832 Damage from hurtful strike with the remaining ~14k being from shatters and cave-ins.

One thing I noticed is that there was a ton of overhealing on me. More or less, 3 healers would hit me for 4k when I only had an 8k Hurtful strike. A druid should rarely heal me, which is what Enya did. However, I'm unsure of the other heals. It just seemed like too much attention was on me...like "omg, he got hit hard"...then 3-4 ppl reacted instead of just 2 which is all that would be needed to land 1 heal each and be done with it. (Just my observation.)

Luna and Mirada were the only 2 people assigned to heal the OT.

I would assume that Max and Bay were playing catch up, but they can speak for themselves .

Coulda been a trust thing then...with Max/Bay not trusting/counting on the incoming heals by Luna/Mirada.
