where CAN you upgrade, anything there is already pretty good and an upgrade would be pointless... maybe vista x64 with another 4gb ram... and a non generic monitor?

You really don't need any upgrade.

Any upgrade at this point is not cost effective. You'd be shelling out a few hundred to thousands for perhaps a few extra frames on high-res in today's top games (Crysis, etc.).

What is it your are trying to do with your computer anyway. Are you finding it lacking somewhere.
If you absolutly had money burning a hole in your pocket, I would go get the new Dell 24" LCD that just came out last week, and run dual screen with the 19" and 24" at the same time. You will love it.

I suppose you could lose the 8800GTS and drop $550 on an 8800 Ultra OC; that might get you an extra ten frames in Crysis. Like Tonk said, you could also install a 64 bit OS so you can actually use all that memory. What games do you play?

I think the others are right. In the current games you won't get any reasonable improvement. You play almost everything on max setting anyway.
Now if you patiently wait about 3 months, a next generation of products should allow a more noticeable performance boost.

If you want to spend, spend it on a nice flatscreen.

Save your money for another month or 2 and then consider the 9800GTX that will be coming out.
You really would enjoy the 2 monitor dual setup though. Once people try it, they never go back.
