BF2 VOIP keeps getting disabled!

I am currently on my laptop for the time being and can't seem to get VOIP enabled in my audio options. It will last for about a minute then it will disable itself. I dont know what it could be. My mic works fine over Teamspeak and comes in quite clear considering that it is built in somewhere.

It is a soundMAX sound card if that helps. Any ideas what it could be?

I have soundmax drivers for my audio chip on my asus mb
I have found that running TS and BF2 together causes problems
I suggest running BF22 only as a test and see if the problem reoccurs

I have tried BF2 with and without TS on. Same results...it is fine for about 30 seconds then it disables itself. Same thing for PR.

The program Muvixer is supposed to help with that, but I couldn't get it to work. Still loose my mic at least once a round and have to alt tab out.

Will getting a actual microphone help?

I had been having the same issues with BF2142 running Vista and using a Creative sound card. I have no clue what I did to get it working properly(so far) except I kept on exiting the game I was in and enabling the VOiP. When I closed out of the game after doing this so many times the next time I played everything was alright.
