Oem Xp Pro Xp1

Does anyone have a copy of this laying around or an image they could send me? It would have to be and OEM XP Pro SP1 for my key to be valid with the install (i believe).

My OS is acting up and I want to reinstall but I have no idea where my CD is.

I have my own legal key and I tried calling microsuck but they refused to send me another copy sans key because my version was OEM and not retail. They even said that I could use another OEM copy to install it, but they wouldn't provide me with it.

Microsoft has no obligation to support OEM copies. That is the responsibility of the OEM (in this case you).

I think I have one for you... I will have to dig, but I will let you tonight.

I assume you have a custom built computer and just purchased the OEM version from Newegg, and do not in fact have a Dell or HP.

Re: Oem Xp Pro Xp1

A few years back I purchased an INTEL bundle that came with a proc/mobo/OS for 200 bucks....

if you're in comp sales or a similar industry you can get the same offer annually.

www.intel.com/retailedge

This years offer was crazy... the proc alone was 800 bucks, with mobo and os, bundled at 250 i believe
