I've been trying to actually do some research on WinXP64.

Does it come with XP SP2? And where can I buy it from?

Re: quick memory question

His Dell Precision T7400 came with XP64 SP2 installed. It did take awhile to download and install the updates for .NET v2 and v3, and IE7. (XP comes with IE6. And I only use IE for Windows Updates.)

Re: quick memory question

XP 64 from what I hear is worse than Vista 64 as far as drivers.
Devs are seeing a lot of people going with Vista 64, and arn't going to feel a need to go back and work on XP 64.

Re: quick memory question

I think I'm going to maybe get Vista...it's in June, by then there may have been some significantly better versions and driver support + updates on Vista 64.
