Open Source/Freeware Alternative To Quicken

Can anyone recommend a good open source/freeware alternative to Quicken?

All we really use it for is as a register and to balance so no other major asset tracking like 401(k) or anything like that. I don't import online statements either. Ability to import existing Quicken data files is a big plus as I don't really want to start from scratch.

To make my point we just use it for basic stuff, we are still using Quicken 2002.
