That looks nice. The cooler will be a solid addition as the stock ones apparently aren't so hot...... zing!

Re: Latest news about next gen graf. cards

Lots of news about the 9800GT out today, and it is not good. Turns out it is really just an 8800GT with a new name.

Geforce 9800GT launches today

Some Geforce 9800GT are 55nm

Quote:
The basic card will be identical to most non overclocked Geforce 8800GT on market but as you know people like to buy higher numbers and therefore we expect that 9800GT will sell quite well.
But in slightly good news:
9600GT shrunk to 55nm

Though for the price the 4850 is still a better card.

Re: Latest news about next gen graf. cards

That is sad really. Nvidia is tripping over themselves with to many cards and a naming structure that is annoying now. They shouldn't have bothered with the 9800GT at this point if all it is, is a new sticker on the card. I would think a 240GT would be in the works and where their money should be put?

Re: Latest news about next gen graf. cards

Couple of updates:

GT200 55nm confirmed

Radeon 4870 X2 launches next week

Can't wait for the X2 final reviews to come in, though it will probably take a couple extra driver releases before we finally see what it can really do. Remember ATI releases a new driver every month.
