Ultra sues just about every other modular power supply manufacturer

That right there means I will not be buying an Ultra power supply.
I completely understand needing to protect a companies product, but you really shouldn't be able to patent a general idea and then sue the hell out of everyone.
I have read where people patented the idea of a small computer that fits in your pocket and plays music, so then they tried to sue Apple and Sony and everyone else that makes MP3 players.

Meh, never trusted Ultra. Not surprising to see another stupid lawsuit pop up.

Re: Ultra sues just about every other modular power supply manufacturer

I like my Ultra PSU. I have used them in a few computers and they have all been very good. It is stupid for them to sue though, if I was them I would sue for the same designs being used and that would be it. Not like they copied HP's design, they bettered it. No cables vibrating loose and crap like that, the Ultra modulars actually have a good tight connection. HP apparently had issues with their cables vibrating loose and instead of taking it back to the drawing board they scratched it. WHICH then left room for Ultra to make a better design. A lot of the companies that I seen a list of are using the same EXACT connectors, that is where I would be suing if I was Ultra.
