RivaTuner v2.09 Released

RivaTuner is a great program that lets you get the most out of your video card, not only by allowing you to overclock it, but also control your fan speeds and a ton of other stuff.

I for one am liking this part of the new update:
Update driver files database for 64-bit NVIDIA ForceWare drivers.

Re: RivaTuner v2.09 Released

Riva should come standard with the 8800GT cards. They run at 30% fan duty cycle under all conditions. I droped my friends temps by 20 deg with riva and nothing else. Easy to use as well.

Re: RivaTuner v2.09 Released

I also got my temps down from 82*C to about 57*C under with RivaTuner. So it has done it's job well IMO. I had tried that other program that everybody talks about but it caused my computer to restart.

You need a membership account type thing with evga if you want to download that evga overclocking program.
If you don't have one, use this

Re: RivaTuner v2.09 Released

Hmm, I may consider on giving this a try. Looks really easy to fool with and I dont really use RivaTuner except to adjust my fan speeds while gaming only. Plus I have an account already.

Wow. This would come in handy for me. I think I overclocked my last graphics card and it basically fried my whole computer, so I had to get a new one.

Re: RivaTuner v2.09 Released

Is that EVGA utility any different from the nTune fan/GPU/memory controls, or is it just a clever boilerplate skin over it?
