Question Intel copied AMD's idea

Well, Intel did it again. This monster of a board is like the failed AMD F series home pc boards, but it looks like it will not fail.

Can you tell me what all of this means?

Re: Intel copied AMD's idea

What would you like to know about it BeSiege?
It is pretty much only for the rich of the richest, since the CPUs it needs are about $1000+, and you need 2.
AMS's version had much more affordable CPU's. We have talked about Skulltrail in these forums before, and there are a bunch of reviews out on the net, but for gaming I would consider it a waste. For something that really required number crunching, like full time HD Video editing or research, might be useful.

Re: Intel copied AMD's idea

Your right about the price, so they are a waste unless you need that power.

well, who has 10k to put in a computer?

And they would likely be on a Mac if they were that serious, anyway.
