Re: Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 Now Available

There's still a glitch or two here or there. When I try to install Faviconize Tab, it stops. It doesn't crash though which is good

There's something else, but for the life of me I can't remember

I'm not impressed so far. For some reason, it randomly dumps my cookies every few sessions...

Memory usage be damned if the browser itself doesn't work right.

No problems with my cookies so far. Anyone else? Might try googling.
Also are you running anything like CCleaner?

Nope, not running anything else. It's only done it a few times, if it does it one more time, I'm going to start from scratch. I've got tons of inactive extensions right now.

Re: Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 Now Available

Oh, did you just do the upgrade?
A bunch of the articles I read said since it is a completly new version, it would be a good idea to start from scratch. I did and it worked fine.

Yeah, I just upgraded. V 1 to V 2 went fine that way. I guess I was just hopeful that this upgrade would be smooth, too.

With that you can download and play with the release canadite without installing, and when you are done you can just delete the file.
I love portable apps.... Almost any program you need all on yout thumb drive. I keep a 4 Gig thumb drive loaded with Firefox, Instant Messenger, Small office and a few other things just in case.

Re: Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 Now Available

been running all the RCs and upgraded to the release of 3 a few days ago. Not had any problems whatsoever with it. Lovin it so far.

For some reason in v2 when I would click on a link, I couldn't do anything else in the browser like go to other tabs or whatever. That's all fixed in this new version. Me likey!
