custom xps laptop cooling stand
hi,
Im planning to make a Harry hardcore custom cooling system/stand for my xps m1710 laptop so i can overclock it, and keep it really cool. i might even add a docking stand into it, for additional usb, monitor and efficiency of laptop removal... ripped apart and re-assembled of course. The case shouldn’t be a problem, I'm more worried about the circuitry. I'm pretty good with making stuff, i.e. soldering, but I want to power it externally so I need a circuit that turns the fans on when the laptop is plugged in and and only when it's on… thermostats are not a big deal. Does anyone know how to make a circuit can do this with out drawing any power from the computer. That could may be plugged into a usb port or the docking system. Tips and ideas would be appreciated. thanx. |
