This article was just posted over at Engadget, and is asking for comments on the best monitor. Just posted and there are already about 100 replies. Lot of the posts are worth a read......

I have to say this but the TN panels in most monitors suck. People buy a new LCD and post that it's amazing simply because it's bright, clear and fast. If you look at the dark areas you see horrible gradients or you have to crank the brightness or contrast to un-comfortable levels to get any defenition.
