Re: World's First Liquid Metal-Based CPU Cooler

I have been reading about this at all the tech sites, and to me for the moment it sounds almost too good to be true. I have my fingers crossed, and am hoping it is working.

Most sites say they expect a review piece in the next month so we will know for sure.

Even after the initial reviews, I would want MTFF tests to be conducted before I sink any money into one.

I'm curious as to the price. It looks all well and good but I have a feeling it may be cost prohibitive.

However, wow, that sounds like it has the potential to be really great.

Goodness. I just finished reading an article on this cooler at MPC: http://www.maximumpc.com/article/new...sed_cpu_cooler

Nice to know I'm not the only one.

I would love to see actual performance figures for this heatsink and a possible price.

Re: World's First Liquid Metal-Based CPU Cooler

I read about something similar a while back. I wonder if it uses the same technology. Pretty expensive metals...

Re: World's First Liquid Metal-Based CPU Cooler

I'm guessing it probably is the same "liquid metal".

Going off of that notion, how does it compare to liquid nitrogen?
