Razer launches the new Megalodon headset

So, most of you will cough when you see the price on these new headsets, but I thought I would post it anyway.

I admit I splurged more than I wanted when I paid $100 more my headphones, but as soon as you hear the difference a high quality surround sound headphone makes, you will wonder why you didn't have them in the 1st place.

does this have the dvi connection like the baracuda? or is this usb? i have the baracuda, they are aging now... i normally go through a headset every month, this $100 has paid for itself 7 times over now in that it is now just shy of 2 years old

They look pretty cool, damn you, I only have my barracudas for a month! But they rock, so I won't be changing them!

I don't think 150 for a quality headset is bad. - of course the cheapest headphones I own are a set of Sony's for 40.00. (well, I bought my wife some skullcandy ones for 16 that matched the color of her nano, but...)

The most expensive set I own are Shure e5's, and at 500.00, they make these things look like a toy.

Yes. If it's Sure cans, they do. Some don't.

yeah, they give an amazing quality to music, but what they are plugged into, and the quality of the audio play a role in it too. I do hear a big difference between them and my sony's, but I use my sony's for everyday stuff, and the sure's for recording, editing, movies, etc.
