EVGA SuperSuper clocked GTX 260 55nm at 675MHz tested

I've been out of town for about 2 weeks, and am busy catching up on all the tech news I missed, but wanted to pass on this article that was just posted.

We have talked about the new Nvidia die shrinks coming, but this is the first review I have seen. And guess what. It actually beats a 280 in a lot of tests.

So if you are thinking of buying a new card, this is one to look at fore sure:

Here is a listing for them on Newegg,

but they are not available right now...........

I have the option to step up to this card, I think i'm going to take it for literally the price of shipping!

That EVGA step-up program is awesome. I used it once before. I will always look to EVGA first when buying certain hardware.

yes it is, the only real problem is the lack of a card for 2 weeks. I have an old 8600 but it's in my spare computer and it would be out of commission.

When I first installed my 8800GTX superclocked there was a problem and EVGA sent the replacement and let me use the shipping container to return the defective card. They may do the same for you.
