I already have it, but this is a great deal. Lifetime updates for a pretty decent cost. It really does work wonderfully too.

I'll sign on for whatever deal this group can get. I've been meaning to buy it sooner or later.

I've used FRAPS in the past and was unimpressed with it. It's not any of my concern to pay for it because I have no intention of ever using it. I understand supporting the software developers though. If I was impressed with the software I would have bought a legitimate copy some time. It's like that with most software I end up enjoying.

The discount is for a site license though. The initial definition of a site license has evolved to mean users of a particular entity and not necessarily a physical site. However, it would be good to check the details of FRAPS' site license. You want to be sure that by being a TG member legally means the user is a part of the larger entity. So that means non-supporting members might not be included. It may also mean the licenses have to be installed on computers owned by the entity.

The group buy is cool and I'd be in for $14 but I want to be sure this is legal. I'm also curious as to how the group will get access to their licensed copy. FRAPS has a login system and a members area and it would be cool if we all got our own logins.

I'd definitely buy it for around $14ish. Count me in.

EDIT: I read this on their website
Large discounts apply for licenses of Fraps which can be installed on multiple computers at the company premises.
Will that affect us being that we are not actually a company and we're certainly not all on the same premises?

Re: FRAPS hookup for Tactical Gamer

When I get home tomorrow I'll contact traps and get the info. My plan was to maybe pool the money and see if it would be possible to go with the 50 level and as new people come along they pm me ( or we start a group with a way for people to contact a few of us admins).

Guys that posted in ihs forums, what is the feedback? Or did they post here?
