Thanks for your inquiry. Currently we only offer volume discounts for companies where each license is used at the same location with a single point of contact. We release frequent updates to Fraps and these are made available through the Members Area of our website. Each person will need to have their own unique account for the Members Area and must therefore purchase the software separately.

So where does that leave us?

Kind of what I was wondering. Set it up like it's own private forum only members can access. Post a link to a download of the new version when one comes out.

Even after seeing some reviews that state this isn't a free program, I decided to give it a shot anyway. Tried to install it but the installer fails. I'm using 64 bit Windows Vista.

Why not try WeGame?

Tried about 6-7 different downloads from different sites. Doesn't seem real. This was on 32bit XP.

One reason a site license is so cheap is that the support is funneled through a single contact, making the company's support costs much cheaper. Volume doesn't decrease the company's support costs. It just makes the initial transaction a little cheaper, as it's done with one transaction.

But still, do we go for it and set up a private forum for it, and in that forum we could have the user name and password for their forums for those who need it?

I'd still be up for it, but I'd be worried about FRAPS going "hey you aren't a company! *bashes licensing*".

It's probably best to ask Fraps if this is acceptable. This solution might not fall under their intended use of a site license.
