ok what are your specs for your computer, i.e what type is it, processor, memory, video card?

Have you downloaded & installed the latest update patch for bf2?

The standard 9200 needs to be set to 4x AGP.
The 9200SE will not run this title at all.

It sounds like you need an upgrade to run BF2, like a new graphics card. How much memory do you have.

You are really going to want to get a new computer man. I know from experience that geforce card is extreamly weak. It was in my first computer.

You could upgrade to a killer computer that would last you a few years for about $700 give or take. Considering you would need about $100 to get a new AGP card, and you would still have very old CPU and Memory holding you back, a new computer would be a good idea.

I started playing bf2 on a system like yours. It barely met min and even though it could play the game i would lag and the game just wasnt as enjoyable. then i upgraded my computer and it was great. just because it meets minimum doesnt mean it will run well. especially bf2

    Re: HELP with BF2 please

Like I said above, if you build it yourself you could build a killer system for about $700. And if you are neverouse about building it, you could buy all the parts and then pay about $75 to a computer shop to put it all together. But it really isn't too hard to do yourself.

    Re: HELP with BF2 please

you say under 1k. well in that case i'd either go and build my own one or i'd probably start by looking on a few websites for ideas of what 1k can get me.
