    IT actually locks together very similar to velcro but slightly different. It has many raised plastic spikes with little balls on the end of those spikes. The balls slip down inbetween each other and lock together. This stuff can hold 4lbs per square inch! And it has a strong adhesive back on the back side of it. I'll try to take a picture up close with my camera set on macro and post it up for you guys to see.

    Ooooh. I already have a use for something like that here in the house.

    Any clue where I can get this superlock stuff and if they sell them in sheets that I can cut-and-divide later?

    Well, it starts around $94 and jumps to $204 and beyond. It certainly isn't cheap.

    Ah! That's the stuff that keeps the front flap closed on Disney (and other) DVD sleeves! I wondered why we didn't see it used more elsewhere!

    Maybe because it's not exactly cheap? Or maybe it's because velcro is more widely known and people might not need 4 pounds per square inch holding power?

    Great find on the picture Whiskey and I bought mine at Radio Shack though you could probably find it cheaper elsewhere.
