Just surfing around and came across this
All Free Desktop Wallpapers Articles
There are pages and pages of wallpaper collections, with some of the best I've ever seen. And that is coming from a wallpaper junkie.
Also notice the top big link for multi-monitor ones. One of the best i've found.

Oooh...I wonder which game that is from...
(It sure looks digital/fake to me.)
Edit: Great! I just snatched a few from Set 3 that I liked. They even had a very nice shot of downtown Chicago here from the lakefront by Hancock Tower.

Actually, I think it is real. He just did some kind of HDR/over saturation kind of something to it.

Bamboo the irony is thick as syrup. I had that picture you posted as my desktop wallpaper a few days ago, great minds do think alike...great archive link though.

Hmm, weird. Maybe they had spot focus on or something 'cus the other edges on some of those nature shots have this pixellated over saturated look.

That's a large haul. I suppose fairly unusually there's a landscape of the entrance to Auschwitz. I'm not sure why anyone would want "Arbeit Macht Frei" plastered over their desktop.
