Re: NVIDIA's GT300 specs outed???
I've been keeping my eye on all things GT300 lately since I have plenty of time since my 8800GT has still not been replaced...
From what I have heard the chip got tapped out recently and VR Zone is saying that the demo chips should be out in September with a release in late 2009. As I posted earlier in this thread I'm still hesitant of Nvidia's ability to get it done and make it compete against AMD who will have a huge time and cost advantage. An XFX 58XX card looks like a nice Novmeber birthday upgrade unless Nvidia gets it butt in gear.Reapator, overlord of ponies

Re: NVIDIA's GT300 specs outed???
I am also thinking Nov. would be a good time to make a decision.
Hopefully by then we will know more about the Nvidia cards and decide to go ahead and buy ATI, or wait. Waiting might also be a good idea because of course ATI cards will start off selling high, since they have the first Direct X11 cards out, and they will wait and see what Nvidia cards cost. If Nvidia cards sell at a decent price, we might see the ATI cards price drop quickly like Nvidia cards did in the last gen.
Still, waiting 3-4 months is going to be tough
