    Must have iPhone apps!

OK, I looked and couldn't find a thread like this, so here goes:

I got an iPhone. It's the coolest thing since sliced bread. It automatically syncs with my Google Calendar and my gmail account. I can surf pr0n in the bathroom at work for free. I can check TG anywhere and anytime. How did I live without one?

I've spent about $8 on apps already and have a few that probably everyone has. I want to know what you have that you thing everyone should have.

Number one on my list is Pandora. I plug my iPhone into the aux jack on my stereo and I get decent music no matter where I am!

    Here's my list:

    Pandora
WifiTrak (not only finds hotspots, but ranks them by strength and security)
    Wikipanion (wikipedia app)
    Galcon (game)
    Urbanspoon (restaurant finder)
    Yelp (business finder)
Shazam (listens to a song and tells you what it is)
Flashlight (turns all the pixels white so you can see in the dark)
    Epocrates (drug reference app)
    Pro RSS (RSS app)
    Enigmo (game)
FingerPiano lite (cool little piano with notes so you can play songs)
FartPiano (because I'm a man and fart noises are funny)
    LightBike (game, like Tron)
FuriousGamer Radio (as discussed in TG news)
iheartradio and AOL radio together will get you almost every streaming radio station there is... I also have Public Radio.

What am I missing? I've got a few other time wasters, like Balls, Koi Pond and Ocarina, but I don't need those...

NetNewsWire - I use this because it syncs my feeds if I read it on the phone or on the PC. I think Google Reader does the same.
IGN - Not bad for glancing at reviews as they come out.
Facebook - If you're into that sort of thing.
GeoDefense - Really good time wasting tower defense game.
VLC Remote - Controls VLC on your PC. It can make playlists.
Remote - Control iTunes on your PC.
Midomi - It's like Shazam and I keep it around in case Shazam fails to ID a song.

    Jailbroken apps:
Cycorder - Video recording with sound too.
mxTube - Save YouTube videos to your phone.
    Winterboard - Theme support.

I don't really use a lot of apps. I barely use the ones I listed. It doesn't really seem necessary to have all these apps on the phone because I don't sit on the can at work playing with my phone.
    JO Guides & Tutorials
Team Element - It's who you game with.

    Shazam
    Flashlight
Dictionaire (helps with my horrible spelling, spells words as you type)
    The Weather Channel
i.TV (great for seeing what movies are playing, and what is on TV)
Google (so I can just speak what I want to search for)
    TV.com (watching some TV shows)
GPSLight (haven't used it much, but will be awesome when I do, for hiking and stuff)
    JewelQuest (fun game)
    Sol Free (good solitaire game)
    AOL Radio and Pandora
    Yo Mama
    Night Stand
    Backgrounds

Just downloaded the Zillow app yesterday (was just released). Looking to buy a house, so this will come in handy.

Not to highjack the thread, but on a related note...

I really want to get one! It will either be this summer, when hopefully a new model is released, or next year if Verizon gets rights to sell them as well (4G!). Thoughts?

What does Internet access cost on these phones, and how expensive is it to email to/from one? I'd love to use my LG env to handle email but the potential cost has scared me off.

It is an all in one data plan, so all internet usage and emails are free. I keep track of my gmail, hotmail, and yahoo mail all on my Iphone. And of course, if/when you are on wifi it is free as well, and much faster.

    Re: Must have iPhone apps!

My iPhone is jailbroken, but that IS a legal thing to do, so I will list both:

    Jailbroken

Snapture (Gives me a 4mp 3x Digizoom camera)
    Cycorder (Video Recorder)
    Clippy (Copy/Paste)
Liveclock (makes the clock live, so it displays the time on the clock app)
Winterboard (Allows me to pimp my iPhone screens, logos, everything)
BSDock (Gives me a pop down dock anywhere, so I can access my extras anywhere)
Backgrounder (allows things to run in the background, so the WiFi dowsn't tur off when it goes into stand-by)
    iMC (A Beta Flash player)
5 space bottom dock (gives me room for 5 things in the bottom of my screen)
Erica (Lets me change my Signal Provider name)
There are more, but this is just a few

    App Store

    BBC Reader
    iFooty (Sports updates)
    Facebook
    Last.FM (British version of Pandora)
Speeddial 1-4 (! hit phone calls, great if you are lazy like me)
    Translator
    Imageshack
    SeaDragon (BAD ASS)
    VNC for server access
    UrbanSpoon
    Zombieville (BOOM)
iSynth (used in conjunction with SeaDragon)
    iJiggles (Boobies......)

Here is one of my pages, note the Signal Provider and the Clock app, and obviously the background.

Here is my favourite, the drop down app, accessable anywhere, it rocks, 1 touch for EVERYTHING, and is itself customizable:

    Saddam ✓ Osama ✓ Gaddafi ✓ Justin Bieber ☐ Rebecca Black ☐

How much does that cost? I'd like to compare it to my Verizon plan.

How's the wifi work? Can I use it with my office system to connect to the Internet?

My phone was added to a family plan and only costs $20 a month, but I think that my wife's phone service costs $60 a month. That includes unlimited data on any AT&T network, but phone minutes and text messaging are a separate part of the plan.

When I went out to look for air card prices and plans, I realized what a deal the iPhone really is... I don't even have an unlimited data aircard plan available to me.

Oh, and when I get home, my phone gets even faster because it automatically connects to my wireless network. I've got it set up to automatically connect to AT&T hotspots, too. It's pretty sweet.

    Re: Must have iPhone apps!

I'll post what I also have, though by the lists of it, i think i might have the least exciting of the bunch:

Textfree - real free txt msgs
    facebook
Lux DLX - free version is cool, you can DL maps right from your iphone no itunes required, its basically risk.
    Pandora
Gunrunner - not bad, recommend the freeware version until they really fix some of the bugs
Speed Test - because well its free
    WhiteNoise
    Flashlight
    TipTap
    GoogleEarth
    Scrabble
    GasBag
    Fandango
    wifitrak - thanks cingular
Twitterfon - gotta say, i was ashamed at first, but why not.

Had bejeweled which is a lot of fun, but the thing kept crashing/resetting when i made it to super high levels, so i got frustrated and kicked it out like the way michael jackson kicks out legal girls out of his bed.
