Re: Canon Rebel T1i / Nikon D90 Comparison.
Well crap, after reading the link you posted I want to go buy a camera. Thanks Extinct

Really though, after reading I'm pretty much sold on the d5000. It has almost all the good stuff of the d90 that I would want without all the crazy extra bells and whistles buried in the sub menus that I would never use.
And even better, at the price the d5000 is selling I can buy it and get a really high end lens. Lenses are what matter, and the good ones are more than the camera.

I have a Nikon and I would buy one again. Nikon has better lenses than cannon and when it comes down to it it's the glass that makes the difference. My 2 cents.

Re: Canon Rebel T1i / Nikon D90 Comparison.
I think I may go with this deal: NIKON D3000 W/18-55VR+55-200VR - $749.00 Canadian.
From a little Lens & Shutters in my closest mall. I figure its quite a good deal considering the 55-200vr is $330. Their sort of throwing in the 55-200vr for about $110 for a limited time(Nov.8).
I am also loving the 2 year warranty that Nikon offers, Plus the 4 year Canadian warranty they offer for the lenses.
Seems like there's a lot of deals out there lately. I wonder if I asked them what the next deal for the Christmas season would be before I purchase this, do you think they would tell me?

Re: Canon Rebel T1i / Nikon D90 Comparison.
I am really torn between getting the D3000 Body W/18-55VR + the Nikon AF 24/2.8 D lens for around $1028. Or the deal above. Any suggestions would be awesome.
The reason I am looking at the Nikon AF 24/2.8 D lens is because it is what I am looking to get into which is wide-angle for landscapes.
