dual monitor ?:game on 1 screen, aim on other-no alt/tab

I have dual monitors and was wondering if theres a way I can use my secondary monitor without alt/tabbing out of the game.

I primarily play cs:s, but when I'm dead or something, I'd like to be able to hit ESC to get into the menu where the mouse shows back up, then going over to my second screen and chat/surf where I can still see when the round is over so i can go back into cs:s.

    Is this possible?

Only if you can get the game to run in windowed mode. Otherwise you'll have to alt-tab.

Steam and x-fire have nifty built-in web browsers that do the trick as well .

What os are you running? I am running Windows 7 and BF2142 . I SLI on large LCD for gaming with smaller 19" LCD for team speak. It does not work in XP. Probably would work in Vista. It all depends on OS and video card driver. I use Nvidia. This was enabled in latest drivers.

Try using this on the launch extension, worked for TF2.

    Code:
    -sw -noborder -novid

    Options>Video> Display Mode

2 Options under the Display Mode tab which are "Full Screen" or "Windowed Mode"
