Gaming Monitor
This monitor will be used mostly for gaming and web surfing.
I'm not sure if the higher refresh rate of the 22' is worth the loss of desktop space. I've heard 120Hz refresh allows for a higher fps with vsync enabled and looks smoother during fast motion scenes. I'll upgrade my graphics when the DX11 cards come out.
Which would you choose and why?

Re: Gaming Monitor
I have the ToC version of the 22" Samsung. It's a beautiful monitor. It puts my older dell LCD next to it to shame. The glossy frame is great.

Re: Gaming Monitor
Is it possible to wait until a 120hz 1920x1200 24" comes out or gets in your price range? I think in the long run it'll be worth the wait over the 22".

Re: Gaming Monitor
I'd like to buy it within the next week or two. I'm not sure if anyone will come out with a 24 model but I hope they do soon.
I think I read that using the Nvidia 3D Glasses and software will cut your fps in half so playing at higher res would be more taxing. I'm not saying I'll get the 3d glasses but the fps cut and price may be why they haven't made a 24' yet.

Re: Gaming Monitor
I have the 24" version of this and I love it. Don't fall for that 120hz marketing nonsense, this is a monitor with very little input lag as tests have shown. Great gaming LCD for cheap. It has some back light bleed at the top and bottom but this is usual for a bright TN panel. It also has HDMI input.
