Re: New Laptop (Now with issues)
I'm guessing Alienware might have some special drivers you can get from their site.

Re: New Laptop (Now with issues)
Probably. For desktop cards, the drivers from the card manufacturer are the right ones, because all the cards are the same, but for mobile cards you have to use special mobile drivers, which are found on the relevant manufacturer's website.
Or you can find slightly-modified-for-mobile (there's a couple sites that do this) normal drivers and see if they work.

Re: New Laptop (Now with issues)
Dude with a laptop like that the only place you're gonna get help is from alienware. That's all custom stuff even the drivers i'm sure.

If it persists in the problem department, send it to me, I will find a use for it....

Not that I am an expert or anything but I think Nvidia has one set of drivers for laptops and another for desktops. This maybe why you are getting that message. Again, I am not any kind of expert on this subject.
BTW, very nice laptop. I use the Dell XPS M1710 laptop which seems ancient in terms of specifications compared to yours.

Re: New Laptop (Now with issues)
Yeah, it looks like I am relegated to using the Alienware drivers. I will definitly have to work on that!

Even with SLI, mine is running super cool. I don't know how, but it is way cooler then any laptop I have ever used..

Really? Wow. Is the fan just crazily loud and fast, or is actually well-designed for cooling itself>
