I used Norton for few years before I found it lacking. Virus updates were always out of date and I had to reboot every once in a while (I keep my computer on 24/7). Sometimes it decided to reboot my computer without telling me.
I've been using F-Secure ever since (from 2006) and I'm quite happy with it. Updates are installed on fly and I don't have to be booting the computer all the time.
