After 2 years, I don't think there would be anything left of the warranty anyway. If I recall correctly, my EVGA 8800GTX only had a 90 day warranty against defects.

Hmm all Evga GPUs have lifetime warranty on them, or at least they should. I know some of the refurbished parts have 90 warranties but new cards should have lifetime if you register them.

Ya it is a 1 year warranty without registering, with registration with in 90 days of purchase it is extended to lifetime. Moral of the story kids is register your card.
