[Microsoft] Free Windows 7 for tech professionals (US Only ATM)

    source

Came across this thought maybe someone could have a use for it. I got a copy of Vista at a similar event before (and some other software). Different dates for different locations. Unfortunately only USA location listed there. Perhaps there will be Canada sessions (or others), I have emailed them to inquire about it.

They'll probably only hand out 32bit versions like they did when I got my second free copy of vista. With vista though I'm pretty sure you can use a 32bit activation key with a 64bit disc so all you have to do is find a 64bit disk. I hope it's the same for Windows 7.
And they don't have one near me, what the hell's up with that?

I didn't want to fill out the form, but this IS free to go to right? They aren't going to be all like "you're not an IT pro!" and throw me out?

Not sure If I really want to go to a tech lecture on my birthday.

Wow , I'm only 3 blocks away from one of them. Don't even need to get in the car.

Should be free yes. I have attended 2 in the past with no hassles. I expect they will give out only 32 bit versions, but as someone else pointed out the keys have worked for both in the past.
