    Is this a good deal?

Okay, so going around craigslist I found this for only $250, and I know the graphics card and CPU are pretty nice, but I just want to be SURE if this is a good deal, it could even be a scam.

Mainboard - MSI P43 Neo3 Intel - Nice little board with Intel chipset and lots of expansion slots of you want to add devices later.

CPU - Intel E5300 3.6Ghz - Fast dual core processor that will run any modern programs.

Memory - 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 - Plenty of memory for all tasks

DVD R/RW - DVD burner and CD burner

160GB Seagate SATA Hard Drive - Nice little drive that runs cool. Not a huge amout of space, but plenty for pictures, music and programs. Very reliable drive.

Onboard 7.1 channel High Definition Audio - Nice sound for all your music - Surround Sound for Movies

Video Card - Radeon HD 4850 512MB - Very fast card, can play intense 3D games, aftermarket cooler w/blue light

Mid Tower Black and Silver case with front USB and Audio Ports - Nice looking sleek case

That's very good for $250, just be sure to check yourself, something might be screwed with the PC.

Re: Is this a good deal?

I think it looks too good to be true since the mobo + gfx + cpu is already around $250. There is no E5300 CPU. There's a E6300 or E4300, and a E5200 (2.5 Ghz), but the E5300 doesn't exist. Already looks fishy to me.

Doing a list on NewEgg here:

    WD 160GB HDD ($40): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136075
    Crucial 2GB DDR2 800 RAM ($25): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820148211
    MSI P43 Neo-F Mobo ($75): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130229
    Intel C2D E7400 2.8 GHz ($110): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115206

    Subtotal: $249.46
    After S/H: $259.42

Of course, it's a E7400 and not a E6 or E5 series (would could be $20-$40 cheaper). Factor in a cheap case ($25), the HD4850 ($90 after MIR), and a optical drive ($25) and you're looking at a grand total of around: $380.

Finished the list off with the E5300 and a optical drive. The grand total is just a few dollars shy of $400.
