I've been eyeing this guy for a while and was planning on using it for my new build...

I'm tempted to side with ASUS based on my history with them alone. Same resolutions... But I believe the ASUS is 16:10 instead of 16:9.

    Re: I'm torn! 24" monitors.

Between the two I would get the Asus. The specs are similar but I prefer 16:10 and I think the Asus looks nicer.

I just bought a Samsung Syncmaster 2233RZ and I couldn't be happier. I love the magicbright dynamic contrast and the 120hz goodness for movies, games, and scrolling. I haven't decided whether to get the 3D glasses yet. I read the new "gimmick" for 2010 will be 3D TV and bluray.

    Re: I'm torn! 24" monitors.

I use a 22" samsung T220HD, I would have preferred the 24", but I am really happy with the choice, I am especially happy with all the connections at the back, the viewing angles are pretty standard for an LCD but I never really notice it in any game, mostly when watching blueray or dvd, even then it is acceptable.
