    Windows 7 Launch Parties

MS is pushing people to hold the equivalent of a Tupperware Party to push Win7 to friends. They're offering how-to videos that smack of late night infomercials instructing you how to do your party. Cabel Sasser, founder of Mac software maker Panic Inc, has remixed one such video with a few cleverly placed bleeps to completely change the meaning of one video:

I saw that a while back. Had a few chuckles watching it.

Yeah, it's how I got my copy of Windows 7, but I'm not really having a party.

Sure. I've got party favors. (literally)

Baloons, Steamers, poster, tote-bags, bunch of Zune pass trials, deck of Windows 7 playing cards, and Windows 7 napkins.

Windows 7 playing cards and napkins? Such things actually exist in the real world?

Hmph. Guess that's one downside to getting Windows through MSDNAA: we don't get those purty extras like Windows napkins for when we spill our digital cocktails and Windows 7 playing cards when digital gambling isn't enough.
