I'm pretty sure you could use the $29 Snow Leopard, along with the Psystar software, and give Mac a try to see if you like it. Looks like the software works, and there is even a free trial if you want to try yourself.
The article just posted, but there is already a good comments discussion going. And if you are thinking of trying, be sure to click through to the cruchgear article for the step by step instructions, and the comments at that article are also very good. Some folks having bugs, but others are offering suggestions to fix.

I don't want a mac either, but some things are fun to do just to do them. Also, some might want to see what the mac thing is all about, but don't want to pay umpteen thousand dollars for one. And Mac does have some good programs for like video editing.
